1. Mall of America
The Mall of America located in Bloomington, Minnesota is the largest mall in the United States. With over 520 stores and 50 restaurant/bars you probably couldn’t even see everything in a single day. This mall also includes Nickelodeon Universe which is an indoor theme park featuring 25 rides and attractions, a LEGO play area, and an aquarium.
2. American Museum of Natural History
Located right near central park in NY this museum is a wealth of knowledge and a great place to wander around and explore. I spent 5 hours in there when I went and still didn’t see everything I wanted to. The other great thing is there are always new things on display due to the 32 million pieces of artifacts in storage.
3. The MET
Another museum in NY the Metropolitan Museum of Art is another awesome place to visit that you can get lost in. I mean literally I got so consumed with all the art work wandering from place to place it took me about 20 minutes to find the exit when it was time to leave. There is artwork from all sorts of periods of time Roman, Greek, African, Renaissance, and so much more. You don’t even have to like art to enjoy this place because there is so many historical pieces there you are bound to find a ton of things that interest you.
Yellowstone national park in Wyoming is an amazing 3,468 sq. miles of serene natural beauty. You can take an all day hike and enjoy the beautiful sites of hills, valleys, mountain ranges, rock formations and much more that mother nature has to offer. Not to mention the Old Faithful Geyser which you can see erupt every 91 minutes and the Caldera super volcano that are located on the premises. You can really spend all day and all night there if your willing to rough it and camp on the grounds for the night.
5. Wildwood Boardwalk
One that hits home for me spending many of my summers at the Jersey Shore, I even hear the ringing of “watch the tram cars please” in my ears. The Wildwood boardwalk is an amazing place with much to do and a lot of interesting people to meet. The boardwalk stretches 38 blocks, roughly 5 miles, and is packed with arcades, eateries, shops, rides, and a long days worth of fun. Also, the beach is right there for some sunbathing or a peaceful late night walk near the water.
6. San Diego Zoo
The San Diego zoo and safari park is great family fun. The 100 acre zoo features 3,700 animals from more than 650 species and sub species. The 1,800 Safari Park has another 2,600 animals from 300 species that you can take a tour bus through. There’s also plenty of activities and shows going on.
